What it’s like living in Bedfordshire

Located to the north of London, and surrounded by Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire is a central location that makes it the ideal commuter area for London. While Luton and Bedford are the major cities here you’ll still find plenty of rural life.

The biggest advantage of living in Bedfordshire is its excellent transport links. In an hour you can be in London by train. It’s just as easy to flee to the country too considering the ease of access. There are several areas of natural beauty in the district, including Dunstable Downs, Greensand Ridge and Marston Vale. For those seeking water-based activities, the Great Ouse still offers plenty of options.

In the county, village life is common, with Woburn being voted as one of the most desirable places in eastern England to live. However if you want to be in the thick of it, Milton Keynes, Luton, Bedford and Biggleswade will all deliver shopping malls, sporting events and cinemas, etc. Bedfordshire Park Homes For Sale will give you a great choice. Just go to Park Home Life

Ickwell is a picture-perfect village on the outskirts of Biggleswade, complete with a pub and a cricket pitch in the middle.  Studham is another village sitting on the edge of the Chiltern Hills.  The excellent transport network is one of the principal benefits of living in Bedfordshire. It usually takes less than an hour by train to reach London and the M1 and A1 roads easily connect the county to Birmingham and the M25 for the south coast.
