Where to Find the Best Autumn Colours

The summer is now well and truly over, but if you thought it was time to snuggle up indoors, well you are wrong! Get yourself some trendy new winter clothes from Tommy Bowe menswear and head out to the woods to see the displays of colour on offer at this beautiful time of the year.

In the south of England, Exmoor is the place to go for beautiful autumn woodland, and you will find Tarr Steps is nothing short of perfect. The steps themselves are over 1000 years old and local folklore says that they were put here by the devil who wanted to win a bet with a giant!

Head further north and you will find that Ashridge in Hertfordshire offers one of the best displays of autumn colour in England. With a walking route of around 6 miles you will be able to take in the spectacular blaze of colour and you may even spot one of the local fallow deer in the woodlands.

Glen Affric in Scotland is known to be one of the most beautiful of the Scottish glens and this time of the year it certainly is stunning. As well as the extensive pine forest, you will have the backdrop of the mountains in the distance.
